Join us for a virtual guided meditation.
Every Sunday morning from 10:00-10:30am, connected through the virtual platform of Zoom, we sit in our practice together.
How it all started..
Our meditation group started in person with my yoga studio, Red Feather Yoga, where we would meet weekly to explore the vast & complex theories and styles of meditation.
Then the pandemic came and brought life to a screeching halt.
Eventually, I was inspired to offer these sessions online so that we could maintain some semblance of community, help one another through trying times, and also learn more about meditation.
This group is designed to help you develop and cultivate your practice. Each week I guide a different style of meditation. These helps to find a style that works for you. We also discuss the history, as well as any supporting science. I’m also happy to answer questions to the best of my knowledge!
How it works:
Each week, typically sometime on Saturday or occasionally early Sunday morning, I will send out an email with the type of mediation I’ll be guiding, some information about it, as well as the Zoom link. (See below to join the email list. I don’t send out spam or regular newsletters).

You’ll need to Download Zoom if you don’t already have it.
You don’t need a Zoom account to attend the meeting. On Sunday morning just before 10am, simply click on the link inside your email and it will directly take you to our group meditation.
Your microphone will be muted when you join the meeting. You’re more than welcome to unmute yourself when we first meet, as we often have a little pow-wow. Please remember to mute yourself once our mediation starts so as not to disturb others. I will also go through and do a quick check and mute anyone who has not yet done so.
Video is not required. You are more than welcome to participate via audio only. This is your practice to do with as you like.
There’s never any obligation or commitment. Join when you want. Participate in anyway that works for you.
Recommendations:
Find a quiet and peaceful place to do your meditation. If that’s a challenge, a good set of headphones will go a long way.
Be comfortable! Sitting in lotus pose or even crosslegged with an erect spine is for the most experienced practitioner. Don’t let that be your goal. Sit in a way that’s comfortable for you so that you can be relaxed and (mostly) still during your meditation. You can also lay down if you’d like - just try to maintain a straight spine when doing so.
Find ways to make your practice enjoyable. This helps to encourage a more regular practice. Light some candles, dim the lights, design a meditation corner somewhere in your house - whatever calls to you.
